It is time, once again, for the fleeting and fragrant Bouquets to Art exhibition at the de Young Museum in San Francisco. For more than three decades, some of the Bay Area’s top floral designers have participated in this annual event with their interpretations of pieces in the museum’s permanent collection. Using flowers and plant material, designers create stunning and inspirational floral works of art. It is an amazing display. Try to find the time this week to get into the City and check out this very special show. I guarantee you’ll look at flower arranging in a whole new way and may well be inspired to go home and create a masterpiece of your own!
In addition to this 31st annual exhibition, the Bouquets to Art event will include an opening night gala, floral design demonstrations, luncheons, and hands-on activities for the kids. The opening night gala is tonight and the exhibit will run April 14-19, 2015. For tickets and more information visit the de Young website, Bouquets to Art.
