Looking For Design Ideas? Find Inspiration At SFDW!
We are right smack dab in the middle of San Francisco Design Week, which is an absolutely fabulous event for any Bay Area resident who has even the faintest interest in design. Billed as “an exhibition & sale of modern design”, SFDW is opened to everyone, trade and public.
With a full roster of 75+ events, the design event offers the opportunity to meet some of the San Francisco Bay Area’s most innovative design professionals, connect with entrepreneurs, and see what local businesses have to offer – from high tech design to every day household items.
I’m thinking that one of the most interesting looking events is the two-night Studio Tours event which includes an “open house” at a variety of design and architecture studios, shops, and galleries throughout the city. There will also be workshops on the latest-and-greatest in landscaping, how to manage when technology isn’t enough, designing for the workspace, an opportunity to meet the Houzz team, and an insider’s tour of the Giant’s edible garden at AT&T Park. (Who said AT&T Park is only for baseball…?)
Although the fun is well underway, it isn’t too late to get in on the action. Check out the SF Design Week website for more information and a full list of events.
