Eichler Rebuild Makes Its Debut

Eichler SoCal in Orange CA is celebrating the rebirth of an Eichler home with an open house this weekend. In 2013 the original Eichler, which is located in the Fairmeadow neighborhood, was destroyed by fire. Using the original Jones & Emmons floor plan as a guide, home designer/remodeler Bryan Ross and Eichler real estate specialist Kelly Laule stepped up to the plate and took on the challenge of rebuilding the home.
Ross kept the same footprint and square footage as the original design, but brought the new home into the 21st Century with drywall (as opposed to the original mahogany paneling), a contemporary fireplace, and engineering that allows the signature floor-to-ceiling windows to comply with modern code requirements. In keeping with Eichler tradition, Ross used original-style Eichler siding, exposed beams with tongue-in-groove ceilings, expansive glass walls, and the classic open floor plan in this atrium model home.
This brand new Eichler rebuild at 1789 N. Shaffer Street, Orange CA will be showcased at an open house tomorrow, Saturday, March 14, 2015 from 12pm to 4pm.
