Two Eichler Homes Featured In Orange County Annual Holiday Home Tour

All of you in SoCal have a great home tour coming up this week. The Jack and Jill Guild of Orange County is presenting their 43rd Annual Holiday Home Tour on Friday, November 21, 2014. What is particularly exciting about this year’s tour is that two amazing Eichler homes will be in the mix, as well as a completely updated Mid-Century home and a classic Spanish Hacienda.
Anyone who has read Atomic Ranch: Design Ideas for Stylish Ranch Homes is familiar with one of the Eichlers on the tour. This thoughtfully modified 2,066 square feet home, located in the city of Orange, was featured on the cover! This is an incredible opportunity to appreciate this lovely Eichler home in person.
Also on the tour is a 1964 Eichler in the Fairhills Eichler neighborhood. This Eichler home features a courtyard entry and has been completely renovated and landscaped, keeping Joseph Eichler’s original intent at the forefront. The result is a home with the clean lines and indoor/outdoor lifestyle originally created by Eichler. Tour this home and walk away with some great Eichler remodeling ideas.
Mid-Century Modernists will also appreciate the Mid-Century Modern home that is on the tour.  This Mid-Century gem blends the contemporary and the eclectic with multi-tiered gardens, secret sitting areas, and antiques from around the world that turn this home and its gardens into a timeless statement of elegant design.
The last home on the tour steps out of the Mid-Century back to the 1930s with a peek into what life would be like in a Spanish hacienda. Many of the original details of this 7,200 square foot home have been carefully restored giving this home classic authenticity.
Tickets will be available on the day of the tour. Click here for more information.
