Charleston Meadow Eichlers, Palo Alto

Built in 1951, Charleston Meadow was one of the first Eichler neighborhoods built in Palo Alto.  The Eichler homes in Charleston Meadow are located just off West Charleston Road on Carolina Lane, Wilkie Way, and Tennessee Lane.

The 100 Eichlers in Charleston Meadow were designed by Anshen + Allen and feature seven unique floor plans.  The original models were approximately 1250 square feet with three bedrooms and one bath.  Although many of the Eichler homes in Charleston Meadow have been remodeled over the years, most have retained their traditional contemporary, typically Eichler exteriors featuring low-pitched roofs with wide overhangs and clerestory windows in the gable ends.  Today, Charleston Meadow retains the same Mid-Century charm and neighborly ambience that it did when Joseph Eichler sold his first Charleston Meadow home.
