Los Altos/Los Altos Hills Eichler Homes

Approximately 50 Eichler homes are located in the South Bay town of Los Altos.  The largest Eichler tract in Los Altos is Fallen Leaf Park in the southeastern section of the city.  The 28 Eichlers in Fallen Leaf Park are located just west of Fallen Leaf Lane along Clay Drive (with a few Eichlers around the corner on Alexander Way).  A second Los Altos Eichler neighborhood, San Antonio Court, is found on Parsons Way, a cul-de-sac off San Antonio in the north of the city.  Los Altos and neighboring Los Altos Hills are also home to several custom Eichlers.

Most of the Fallen Leaf Park Eichlers were built in the late 1960s on standard ¼ acre lots.  Most are gallery or atrium models featuring 4-5 bedrooms.  The Eichler community on Parsons Way is a smaller development with 8 Eichler homes built in 1974.  Although there are a few custom Eichlers scattered throughout Los Altos, most of the custom built Eichler homes are located to the west of Los Altos proper in Los Altos Hills.

As a note of interest: A nice feature in both of the Los Altos Eichler neighborhoods is that utilities are underground, leaving the streets free from the clutter of overhead power lines.
