Sereno Foothills, located in the town of Monte Sereno, is one of the smallest Eichler communities in the South Bay/Peninsula area. All 16 of the Eichler homes in Monte Sereno are located on Via Sereno, a cul-de-sac just off of Winchester Boulevard.
Most, if not all, of the Sereno Foothills Eichlers were designed by Claude Oakland and built between 1969 and 1971. All are gallery models, offering the open spacious feeling of an atrium with a roof within the walls of the home. The Eichler homes in Monte Sereno are all a comfortable 2000+ square feet and most feature four bedrooms with two baths.
As a note of interest: One of the Eichler homes in Monte Sereno was subject to a very creative “green” remodel that involved adding a lower level (basement) living space to the existing home, doubling the square footage while maintaining the Eichler integrity of the exterior of the home.
