Parmer Place is a modestly sized Eichler tract with about 45 Eichler homes, all built in 1967. A variety of Eichler models are represented in Parmer Place, including both atrium and gallery styles. These homes tend to be a bit larger than earlier Eichlers and range in size from 1600 sq. ft. of living space to 2400+ square feet. Parmer Place is one of eleven Sunnyvale Eichler neighborhoods for which the city has developed a set of Eichler Design Guidelines to help residents plan renovations and remodeling that are consistent with the Eichler aesthetic. Other neighborhoods taking advantage of this program include Primewood, Fairwood, and Fairwood Addition.
