Sunnyvale’s Parmer Place Eichler tract is located about one mile north of the much larger Fairbrae and Rancho Verde Eichler neighborhoods. The Eichler homes in Parmer Place can be found on Brookline Drive, Cumberland Avenue, and portions of Pear Avenue and Piper Avenue.
Parmer Place is a modestly sized Eichler tract with about 45 Eichler homes, all built in 1967. A variety of Eichler models are represented in Parmer Place, including both atrium and gallery styles. These homes tend to be a bit larger than earlier Eichlers and range in size from 1600 sq. ft. of living space to 2400+ square feet. Parmer Place is one of eleven Sunnyvale Eichler neighborhoods for which the city has developed a set of Eichler Design Guidelines to help residents plan renovations and remodeling that are consistent with the Eichler aesthetic.
