Rancho Sans Souci + Fairpark Addition Eichlers, Sunnyvale

Rancho Sans Souci and Fairpark are two Sunnyvale Eichler developments that were built late in Joseph Eichler’s career as a real estate developer.  The Eichler homes in Rancho Sans Souci are located On MacKenzie Drive, Laurentian Way, Pendleton Avenue, and Olympus Court.  The Fairpark Addition Eichlers are three miles east of Rancho Sans Souci on E. Homestead Road and Lorne Way.

Built in 1968, most of the 35 Eichlers in Rancho Sans Souci are larger homes of 1800 – 2600 square feet.  Rancho Sans Souci offers a nice mix of Eichler designs including gallery and atrium models.  Fairpark Addition was built in 1973 and features comfortably sized homes in the 1600 – 2000 square feet range, most with 4-bedrooms and 2-baths.  Eichler’s Mid-century aesthetic is protected in both Rancho Sans Souci and Fairpark Addition by Sunnyvale’s Eichler Design Guidelines.  Other Eichler tracts in Sunnyvale that are included under the renovation/remodel/new construction guidelines are Midtown, Parmer Place, Rancho Verde Addition, Fairorchard, and Fairbrae.
