With over 200 Eichler homes, Royal Manor is one of Palo Alto’s larger Eichler subdivisions. Located in the Palo Verde neighborhood, the Eichlers in Royal Manor can be found just south of Loma Verde Avenue on Kenneth Drive, Thomas Drive, Greer Road, Janice Way, and a portion of Stockton Place and Louis Road.
Completed in 1958, the Eichler homes in Royal Manor reflect the evolving style of Joseph Eichler and his architects, featuring larger homes than in earlier models and including a few homes with the revolutionary (at the time) atrium design. Although there are a few 3-bedroom homes, most of the Royal Manor Eichlers are 4-bedroom/2-bath models averaging around 1600 square feet. The Eichler Swim and Tennis Club is nearby.
