Read MoreAlthough there are no detached Eichler homes in Santa Clara, the city is home to two Eichler condominium/co-op developments, Pomeroy Green and Pomeroy West, both located on the north side of the intersection of Pomeroy Avenue and Benton Street.
Pomeroy Green, which was built in 1961, is a complex of seventy-eight 4-bedroom, 2.5 bath townhomes that feature many of the contemporary Eichler touches found in single-family homes. In the center of the development is a common area that includes a landscaped swimming pool area.
Directly to the west of Pomeroy Green is the aptly named Pomeroy West. These one and two-story condominiums include 2, 3, and 4-bedroom models, ranging in size from a cozy 950 sq. feet to a more family-friendly 1550 square feet. The Eichler condos in Pomeroy West are clustered around quiet lanes and cul-de-sacs. Amenities for the condominiums at Pomeroy West include a community center and swimming pool.
As a note of interest: Â Many of the single-story condos in Pomeroy West feature atriums.
